FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How will I receive my photo proofs?
An email will be sent to you after processing is complete. This email will include the portrait code and pass code you require to order online.
What kind of safety measures are in place?
Our photographers will be wearing PPE and have passed a COVID safety training. Physical distancing will be enforced and appointments are limited to reduce crowding at the studio.
Is Edge providing sashes, caps, and gowns for grad shoots?
Yes, we are. We are following the same protocol as the Retail Council of Canada with regards to caps and gowns. Each item is used by one student and staged for a minimum of 24 hours before it is reused. Caps and gowns are optional; students may be photographed without these items – we suggest a white collared shirt and a solid-coloured tie for a traditional look, or wear something that shows your personality – it’s up to you!
Please note that, in regards to sashes, we are using one standard colour for studio shoots. These standardized sashes may not match the colour of sashes used at your school in years past.
Is Edge providing props for grad shoots? As part of our commitment to protecting students’ health, Edge will not be providing props during your photo shoot. Please feel free to bring your own flowers, books, etc. to be photographed with during your session.
What should I wear for grad or milestone photos?
If you’re not sure what to wear with the gown, here are a couple classic options you can use to get your outfit ideas flowing:
- A collared shirt or blouse always complements the gown nicely
- Pair a buttoned up collar with a tie in a colour that works with the gown
- A tank top style shirt will not be visible in the V neck of the gown
