Q:   What should I send with my child on picture day?

Q:  Can I get retouching done on my child’s pictures?

  • Depending on which program your school will be running with our company, you may receive a reminder notice which has the photo date and suggestions to prepare for photo day.  This means that no money is required at the camera.  Otherwise you will receive an order envelope to fill out and include payment to send with your child on picture day as well as suggestions to prepare.
  • If this is the first school photo; take some time with your child to practice smiling for the camera.  This can be a foreign and sometimes scary experience for them.  Let them know what will take place and get them excited for the final result.
  • Retouching is a service that Edge Imaging provides to remove basic blemishes or imperfections on the face only.  If you are ordering elementary photos, the option is not listed on the envelope.  You may indicate that you would like this service by entering in RT in a package box at the price of $8.00.  For high school photos please check off the box provided for retouching requests.  Be sure to include $8 in your total.

  • In the case of a High School Graduation order, we do basic retouching on each pose selected for ordering.  If you require further retouching (braces removal, glasses glare) please call Customer Care to get a specific price for that service.

Q:  There was no class photo in my child’s package.  Do we not receive one?

  Q:  I am sending a cheque to Edge Imaging; it is dated for the 1st of the month is this ok?
  • The class photo is a complimentary service that Edge Imaging provides for elementary and some middle school students.  They are distributed individually by the teacher, and may arrive shortly after the packages.   If you have not yet received your child’s copy, please check with their teacher to see if they have arrived at the school.
  • We ask that you do not post date your cheques.  Due to the high volume of schools serviced; we deposit payment upon collection of orders.  Should you wish to place an order after the due date; the images remain in our files for at least two years.  Please refer to the order form to see if a late fee is required.

Q:  My child did not receive their package with the rest of their class, how do I get it?

Q:  I don’t remember what I had ordered for my child.  How do I get this information?

  • First we ask that you allow at least a week for the packages to be completely distributed throughout the school.  In some cases, it could be sent to the wrong homeroom and will arrive to your child a few days behind.
  • If the package has not arrived by then please call our toll free number and speak with one of our Customer Care Representatives.  Please have a proof of payment (bank statement or credit card bill) so that we can track the order with our records.  
  • Please call the toll free number to speak with one of our Customer Care Representatives and they will give you what information you need.  For future orders, we recommend that you tear off the top portion or make a copy of the order form to make reference to your order when it does arrive.  By keeping a copy you will be able to ensure that you received exactly what you ordered.

Q:  I didn’t hand in my child’s order form by the due date; can I still order?

  • Of course you may still place an order!  Our company is 100% digital which allows us to keep the images on file for up to 2 years. First we ask that you confirm with the school that the orders have not yet been picked up by our company. If they have already been collected at the school, you may place an order by doing the following:
  • If this is a School day photo order, a $10.00 late fee is required and it can simply be added to your total before sending in your order.  Check the order envelope to be sure.

There are two ways you may get the order to us;

    1. You can mail the order envelope with a cheque or money order to:

      (We do not encourage cash to be sent in the mail)
    2. Or if you wish to make the purchase over the phone using your VISA or MasterCard, please call our toll free number and one of our Customer Care Representatives will be happy to place your order.  Once the order has been placed, please allow two to three weeks for the package to be delivered to the school
  • In the case of a high school Graduation order, it is preferred that you mail in the envelope to ensure that your order is placed with the utmost accuracy.   Be sure to include the $5.00 Shipping and Handling and calculate 13% tax (5% GST and 8% PST, or as required in your area) on the appropriate charges.  Please include a full return mailing address as the orders are sent directly to your home as well as your day and evening phone numbers should we have a question about your order.
